This large brass rain gauge helps you conserve water. The Vermont Grande View Rain Gauge not only collects and measures the amount of rain that has fallen over a given time period, but will also measure the amount of water used when watering your lawn and garden.
Measuring in 1/10 inch increments on one side and 1mm increments on the other, the curvature of the glass vial combines with the water to magnify the numeral’s width by 50% as it fills, making the waterline easy to see. A metal screen in the collection funnel keeps out unwanted leaves and bugs. This decorative rain gauge includes a solid brass twisting ground stake and hardware for post mounting.
