This stainless steel, red powder-coated float and aluminum rod assembly replacement is for the original Jeffersonian Rain Gauge (#VRG7LFB) with the 5" scale. The replacement float is easy to install and is an affordable solution to a broken, chipped or faded float.
*NOTE: This replacement can not be used to replace the float assembly on the 2nd Generation Jeffersonian Rain Gauge (#VRG7-2LFB; 7" scale).
